About Me
Written by Kim Blais

aboutmeI have been artistic all my life. I was a singer, dabbled in interior design, and I love to paint abstracts. I have been the photographer for family get-togethers for as long as I can remember.  Having two children of my own, I realized how much I really enjoy taking and making portraits, not snap shots, to capture all those moments before they are all grown up and I wonder where the time went.

After being told by many that I really have an eye for photography, I finally decided what I wanted to be when I grow up...and many years after school I chose to become a photographer. I really enjoy capturing expressions and poses that make you smile and say, “That’s the look I wanted”. I really enjoy following children around and seeing what they get into and how their little minds figure out the things around them. I also enjoy capturing that look that makes clients think, “Wow, I really look good”.

My sessions are very relaxed with no forced smiles. I know that little ones need breaks for feedings, a snack to refuel, change of clothes, or just to explore and expand their curious minds.  A senior may need to change multiple times to get the right look for the year book, so my sessions usually last 1 to 2 hours. I have a beautiful studio in the North Phoenix area with many classic and elegant furniture pieces to use as a home-like setting for your portraits.  I am also an on-location photographer, so if you have a special place you would like to go to or stay within the comforts of your own home...the choice is up to you.   Please call (602) 770-4924 to make an appointment.

My mission is to help you celebrate every stage of your life with natural and breathtaking photography that fits your family.

I truly feel blessed for being able to capture your special memories while doing something I love.
